Our traditional Chinese medicine therapies

  • Acupuncture

Introduction of very fine needles in precise points of tissues or organs.

  • Auriculotherapy

The ear is like a hologram of the map of the body.

Auriculotherapy is a method of relieving pain and promoting balance by stimulating specific points on the outer ear.

  • Herbal medicine

Herbs complement acupuncture treatment and vice versa.

The synergy between acupuncture and herbs improves the treatment and reduces recovery time.

  • Cupping

Small glass bell applied to the skin after air has been rarefied, to cause revulsion. This method offers good results to relieve muscular pains.

  • Gua Sha

This consists of applying unidirectional pressure using an instrument on a lubricated part of the surface of the body to intentionally create temporary petechiae (small, bright-red lesions) from treatment, known as “sha”. Reducing Sha, helps to promote recovery.

  • Moxibustion

Moxibustion uses dried mugwort (Artemisia argyi or Artemisia vulgaris) to warm up and reinvigorate the flow of Qi (vital life force) in the body and to dispel certain pathogens such as cold.

  • Scalp therapy

Stimulation of specific areas on the scalp is applied to treat paralysis or abnormal sensations such as numbness and tingling in arms and legs.

  • Sympathicotherapy

Technique that uses reflex points located on the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity, which is connected to the different organs by numerous nerve endings of the sympathetic system.

  • Hypnosis

Ericksonian hypnosis is characterized by a flexible, indirect and non-directive approach. It is a valuable and useful tool to enhance the healing process.
